Prayers for the people of Manila

Manila was hit by a really bad Typhoon the night before last night - it was HORRIBLE - there are many many people dead and EVEN more missing... it was pretty bad...winds were up to 100 mph with a wall of rain.... the worse area hit was south of Manila where my Dad lives... My Dad texted mess me on the cell last night to let us know that he is ok - but at his house three huge trees were uprooted and thrown on top of his garage, destroying it and part of his house wall - thank GOD it was that part of his house....Angels have to be watching over him... and luckily - he didn't park their cars in there for some reason that night... My poor Dad has been through so much out there... I wish he'd leave and come back to the states...but that is neither here or there...

PLEASE PRAY FOR ALL THE PEOPLE OF MANILA AS THEY GET THROUGH THIS TOUGH TIME....

they are surrounded by devastation... and rescue and clean up efforts are being slowed as the electricity is out for one to two weeks they say and the roads are very flooded and filled with mud.... making it impossible to get around....many families are stranded on roof tops...

PLEASE REMEMBER THESE INDIVIDUALS IN YOUR PRAYERS...

KILLER WHALES

I awoke from a great dream this morning in which I was staying at a mountain cabin with my husband and some old school mates (from so long ago...people i haven't even seen or thought about in years) I had just ran for a track event and decided to take a walk to the oceanside... there with 20 or so other people I saw a BEAUTIFUL Killer Whale frolicing so very close tot he shore.... I couldn't resist and I walked out to the waters edge - reached out and let the great gorgeous beast glide under my hands - it felt marvelous and I was in complete AWE... I thought how Great God is to make this gentle giant....after many many passes under my hand, my hubby joined me in petting the whale...then we walked away and talked about how we could have died had the creature suddenly felt hungry...yet we were not afraid...we were tied up in the moment....

I guess too much time at Sea World takes it toll on me... LOL! Or maybe, like my nephew I am just sooo anxious to go again - see you tonight Shamu!
