RO's 30th Birthday Celebration

Here are some of my favorite pics from my hubby's birthday last week.
It was a bit of a surprise for him. He made me promise I would not throw him a party at our house or a restaurant or even a park. He didn't want me to go to the trouble and work hard. He has been worried about me pushing it while 9 months pregnant. He said he would be happy with just a cake. So I promised him all that and that I would get him a cake. Well, he never said anything to me about the garage... hee hee hee! So I loaded the garage up with some family and friends, plus food, drinks and treats. I decorated it and put up some card tables with chairs. I didn't cook or prepare any food, but bought snacks, pizza, paper napkins, cups and plates. I had a beautiful and delicious cake made by Crumbs of Paris (our friend who made our fabulous wedding cake). I had his parents bring some KFC and I bought him a mini Heineken keg. When he came home, he couldn't pull in the garage. :) He was happy and surprised. It was easy to clean up - no dishes most everything was just to be thrown away. It was a great night, everyone had fun and most importantly, RO was very happy. He thanked me again and again before we went to bed and I was pleased it was a special birthday for him. As it should be because he is so special to all of us.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AGAIN TO YOU
DADDY!
