My Great Uncle is very sick with Lung Cancer and in the hospital... Please pray for him to recover enough to go home... Please pray he doesn't suffer badly... he is a wonderful soul and one of the nicest people you could ever meet.

Another Birthday Bash

We had a birthday beach party on the 14th for RO's Momma - I haven't posted the pics yet... but boy! that was fun.

We are having another at the beach this weekend for RO! He turns 29 on the 29th! BEACH & BBQ... it doesn't get better than that...

WOO HOO! I can't wait!

HARRY POTTER!!!!

Okay! I am freaking out - Just like the rest of the Potter fans across the country and around the world! The final book is out midnight tonight.... my friend is getting hers delivered to her tomorrow from UPS - and she is so nice to let me read it before she does as she is going on vacation for a week and doesn't think she will put a dent in it over her week's vaca.... I can't wait to get my hands on that book!!!! :-)



Tomorrow night we are going to see movie 5 of the series, Order of the Pheonix... in IMAX 3D! I've got the tickets in my purse...

I can't wait!! WOOO HOOO!

To the Ballgame

We are headed to the ballgame tonight to see the Padres take on the Mets! Fun fun! It is 72 degrees at Petco Park right now - should make for a nice night. :-)

La Jolla

Here is RO and Tumbleweed at the beach this past Saturday. It was a nice relaxing time... a little overcast but still very nice.

We stayed for a couple hours and watched the surf and wild life... we saw some seals, squirrels and lots of birds....Tumbleweed was squirrel watching and people watching... I will haev to post more pics so you can see where the squrril was hiding out from her... there was quite a few people fishing as you can see in the picture below...

...we saw about three weddings on the bluff in just a couple hours.... 7-7-07 was a HUGE day to get married.

Out of Wack or Not

There are a lot of nosey bloggers out there... or maybe they are just lazy... I think of them as snoopers?

As of today, I have had 727+ different views to my page here and only a handful ever leave comments...

That is kinda frustrating... oh well. I only started this so my family would know what was going on in my life.... maybe I should have kept it private....

Thank God for my best friend Andrea! She never fails to leave me a comment...Whcich really gives me something to look forward to after I post :-) And my friend S (http://dearhomefront.blogspot.com) who inspired me to start this thing to begin with... she is good for a comment here and there.

Really, I didn't expect to "meet" the few fellow bloggers, Jennine( http://thecoveted.blogspot.com/), London Dog (http://thelondondog.blogspot.com/) and Gudl (http://cdgagudl.blogspot.com/) that I have... I am glad for that... they sort of feel like friends to me, as I "check in" with there blogs just about everyday....

So anyhow... there is my piece for the day... A little bit of pout and a little bit of sunshine... hey! Just like me!

LIBERTY: 1. The state of being free in action or thought fromt he domination of other or from restraicting circumstances; freedom. 2. The possesion and exercise of the right of self-government. 3. A particular permission, right or priviledge.
