It is Leap Day

Shall we all leap around? LOL!

What shall we do with this extra day of the year? I am going to sign my life away at my attorney's office :) Big day for me. Did I tell you I am a President now? I am. President JO.... I'll fill you in later. Tonight I think we should celebrate. Celebrate Leap year, celebrate the paperwork being almost done, Celebrate Life...

Picnic at the Bay

Here are some pics we snapped on a family picnic a few weekends back.It was a beautiful day down by the bay!

Hayley had a blast...

We all had lots of fun, can't wait til summertime. Lots more picnics in the summer. Today it is 82 degrees out here. Nice! The flowers along side the freeways are in full bloom....Wild California Poppies everywhere... I will have to snap a pic and post.

Lindsay and I are due two months apart. She is due in June and I am due in August. The cousins will be so close in age. It will be fun to see them grow up together.

These pics are from the drive we took up to the mountains a few weeks back. There was only a bit of snow, it was before the BIG storm we got.

Tumbleweed had fun....

We trotted around a bit then headed to Julian for some yummy Apple Pie to take home. :) It was a nice day trip.

Camping at Silver Strand, Coronado

Like our RV? I Wish it was ours...


















We had a really good time camping on the shore for my birthday.... it was a bit chilly, especially at night, but oh so beautiful and peaceful. I loved listening to the waves all day and night. I don't think there is a more relaxing sound than the rhythm of the waves.... I love it.




















Tumbleweed would rather be outside. Here she is wishing we would hurry up and eat our lunch so she can go back outside.




Pierre and Tumbleweed know how to keep warm and dry. At night on the shore the mist comes in and you and everything around you gets very damp.








My sister and her family came out to visit us one night we BBQed and made S'mores... YUM!

Jacob had lots of fun in the sand.

This is a great shot! I love all the little birds... they stayed and watched the sunset. They didn't fly away until the sun was completely gone... Nature enjoying nature :)
