Moving Day Again

Moving Day again.... we have a new office manager/human resourse person starting tomorrow and Three of us are moving to make room for her.

We spent half the day moving offices yesterday and now we are finishing up... it is a mess around here. Chaos! AHHHH and dusty dusty dusty....sneeze sneeze... I dont' care for change much... I liked my old desk location, but i can't complain because I did get the window seat again... so that is nice.

I cant wait to get home tonight, have a glass of wine and relax...

Head = ache

My head feels like it may EXPLODE!
Constant pounding... since Thursday... no since forever...
almost 3 years now of constant headache ... Feb 28, 2004... BOOM! it hit me!
feeling useless... still... I must carry on...
Need sleep
But there seems to be
No rest in sight
UGH!

GO AWAY HEADACHE!

Grandma Rosebud

My Grandma Rosebud passed away on 2:40pm, Friday, January 26th...she is now in the arms of our Lord, which I know pleases her very much....she will be missed by so many that she left behind.




She will have 3 services.... The San Diego service will be held Febuary 10th at 10am at St Kearan's Catholic Church...One of the many Churches she volunteered at and attended.

The Dreadful Threes

Sadly, RO's Grandpa Murray passed on January 12th, we attended the funeral yesterday at Ft. Rosecrans. It was a beautiful ceremony, very reminiscent of my Grandfathers funeral just 3 years ago which was also held at Ft. Rosecans. Grandpa Murray was suffering some time now and has been in the hospital for months, he is no longer suffering and is in the hands of the Lord now... I pray that God brings comfort to the family left behind and gives them strength to carry on...

On the 22nd, my Step Grandma Gail's mother passed away in the comfort of her daughter's home, she was 92 and lived a long life.... Lung cancer was making her suffer for some time now. She too is now with her Maker.

....after hearing this I emailed my mom that there must me another one coming - they always go in threes...

Yesterday after we arrived home from the funeral and wake - I got a phone call from my sister telling me my Step Grandma Rosebud had a massive stroke/heart attack and she is in a coma now. I pray that she is not the third... I am fusterated that she has recently been relocated to Fresno and being so far, I can't go see her - I wish she was still down here, so I could at least see her and hold her hand.

Today I feel like a Zombie, like I am in a horible dream from which I just can't seem to wake up. I am numb.

Duncan Hunter For President!!

Duncan Hunter annouced that he WILL be running in the 2008 election! YAY! I am so happy! I hope that he really gets his name out there.... Duncan Hunter is a local resident - residing in Apline and has been serving in Congress for 28 years...

I think he is an excellent canidate and I pray he squashes Hilary Clinton in the run...

Well RO finally got want he has wanted a loooong time.... We got it last night at Sam's Club, it was a great deal, we just couldn't pass it up... it was the floor model so we managed to get an additional 10% off... YAY! My hubby is a good talker when it come to that...

After getting it home and set up - it is almost ridiculous how huge it is... I told him, okay I think they can see that from the space station... now I think we will need to buy a bigger house to go with it... LOL - NOT! We just don't have two walls far enough apart for this thing... it is really like sitting in the 5th row at the theather.... something I will have to get used to being that I usually sit very close to the back... hey, one good thing! I could watch it without my contacts in...

How cool!

I just signed up for some thing cool. I applied to be a secret shopper, well actually a secret diner... I hope they pick me... If they do - My hubby and I will be able to try new places and be reimbursed 100% of our cost and tip to dine.... and may even earn extra cash as well... Pretty cool, eh? I think so... we already spend a lot of time dining out, why not be paid for our opinions on the places we dine?

August is a looong time away - I hope our city digs itself out of our depression by then...

I hope the Chargers sip some Bubbly anyhow... since the played an incredible season!

SNOW!!!!!

Welp we got a good coating of SNOW over our moutains last night.... my hubby can see it on the mountain top from East County - sadly though he has been watching it melt away all day.... boo hoo!

And unfortunately the storm has broken up and the showers and snow we were expecting tonight probably won't happen... it is just going to be really windy... expecting 50-55 mph gusts.... it should be a howling night.

oh well - there surely will be a little snow left for us to savor in the morning.... and it will be a really pretty ride up.

Getting Ansty

We are heading up to the Laguna Mountains this weekend... YAY! Our favorite get away spot... it will be fun! We are taking the dogs with us - so they will be extra HAPPY! I have got thier sweaters ready...

There is a storm brewing... just in time to bring us SNOW!!! It has been rather dry up there this winter so I am very excited about this storm.

I am getting off work early tomorrow as to get on the road as soon as possible...

I am just sooooo excited! That is all I can think about today!

I got a little spoiled for my birthday here at work today....

• the company brought in yummy Giant danishes and muffins
• a friend brought me some Sees candy bars
• my boss brought me three tall beautiful "Bird of Paradises" (one of my hubby's favorite flower & she knew that:-)) and she gave me a jewleled/brass/elephant letter opener and a $25.00 Target giftcard!
• another friend took me to Black Angus for lunch and gave me two photo albums and scrap booking kit and two Christmas music CD
• and the company also gave me a $30 giftcard for Black Angus

Now tonight we will go out to dinner at Mimi's Cafe with friends and family.... Sounds like a pretty good Birthday, huh? It sure has been...
